Dark Skin Man Seen at Paya Lebar Raising his Fist on Woman During Noisy Quarrel

Netizen have uploaded on local social media what appears to be a dispute between a Dark Skinned man and several women. He attempts to raise his fist to strike the women who refused to stand down. Neither the women nor the men appear to be local.

We sincerely hope that the parties involved were able to amicably work out their dispute and no violence should be resorted too.

Some locals have expressed their displeasure that some foreigners who come to work here are disturbing the peace. Singaporeans are by nature peace loving and very law abiding. Some foreigners who come from foreign lands like India for instance have Police which control the populace using sticks which are used to hit at the people who step out of line. Such hard line approach is not used in Singapore where the Police are extremely professional and polite to everyone. Many of local police are themselves young men serving their national obligations. Thus these foreigners who come may perceive the local law enforcement to be "Weak" and thus behave badly in order to test the system. This is a very bad mistake as the Singapore Police is one of the worlds best. It has effectively kept Singapore's crime rate at one of the lowest on earth. Visitors who step out of line and commit crimes will quickly find themselves in regrettable situations and even have their work permits cancelled before being punished by the law and deported.
