Weird Gang with Poles Rush forward to Attack Hong Kong Protesters

Things just keep getting worse in Hong Kong. A latest video in August shows groups of men rushing forward to smash protesters with Long Poles. They gang of men appear to attack without cohesion. Long Poles work best if they form a Phalanx type unit and make themselves into an impenetrable porcupine. These bunch of aggressors appears undisciplined and thus are not part of any para military factions. One of the first thing any military type unit would teach their trainees is that men are strongest when they work together in a squad type unit depending on each other's strength as a form of force multiplier.

The protesters who were being attacked were more than prepared this time after the previous white shirt attack in the subway left many protester injured. The protesters rained projectiles on the attackers while man rushed forward to engage the pole bearing men and closed the distance between themselves and the attackers once the aggressors begin to spread out to prevent injuries by the projectiles. This nullifies the advantages of any pole assault weapons as they are dependent on range. A long pole is useless if the adversary is right in your face.
