Driver Find Baby Monitor Lizard On Windscreen While Driving

You were driving to work on the highway when you realized you had an unwelcome guest hitching a ride ON THE WINDSCREEN. What will you do?

The 30cm long baby monitor lizard decided to make its appearance on the bonnet of the shocked driver mid-way through a journey in Bangkok, Thailand on Friday March 22.

The little lizard was seen flicking its tongue and glancing at the driver and his passenger as it clung on the window wiper.

Motorist Santi Intakesorn, 29, said when he noticed the water monitor he tried to drive smoothly and at steady pace to avoid hurting the unexpected hitchhiker.

He believes that the lizard crawled out from the abandoned field next to his home and stayed under the hood for shade - only appearing after waking up while the car was moving.

The little fellow might have been hiding inside the engine but could not stand the heat when the engine became hotter.

As the car came to a stop at the red light, the lizard got off the car and onto the road.

​Santi joked: ‘’He must have jumped off because he got bored in the traffic jam, thinking that walking might be faster.’’
