Work Permit Foreigner Arrested After Killing A Singaporean and Badly Wounding Another

A 23-year-old foreigner in Singapore who is on work permit has been arrested after a man was found dead and another injured at a building along Sungei Kadut Loop, said the police in a statement on Monday (11 March).

The  Singapore Police said that they had received a call requesting for assistance at the building at 12.57pm.

We understands that the building is located at 62 Sungei Kadut Loop, which is the address of the International Furniture Centre.

When the Local police arrived at the scene, A 30-year-old man was found lying motionless inside the building and was pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene. Another 29-year-old man, who was found with injuries, was conscious when conveyed to Khoo Teck Puat hospital.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the victims and the suspect are known to each other. It is understood both the victims are Singaporean.

The suspect, a work permit holder whose nationality is unclear, will be charged in court with murder on Wednesday (March 12).
