E-Scooter Gang Brazenly Rides Openly in Woodlands and Flashes the "Bird" at Drivers Who Honked them for Safety

An Escooter Gang was seen as bold as Brass Brazenly riding down Woodlands in broad Moonlight. A driver who filmed the event tried to Honk the riders to alert them to the dangers they presented to themselves and other road users.

LTA has in recent months been doing an excellent job in enforcing strict penalties on scooter riders who openly flouted the rules. This however did not deter this "Gang of four" riders from flouting the rules that prohibited Mobility devices from being used on the roads.

The gang was seen openly overtaking traffic and behaving like the rule of law did NOT exist. Many concerns were raised in the previous months about such errant riders. Some netizens were concerned that they had no adequate insu;ance policies which covered damage to themselves or other road users in the even of accidents. Some reckless riders in recent times have been dealt with by the courts for their actions which resulted in accidents involving injuries.

Singapore has one of the most efficient and professional Police force on this planet. Such behavior will eventually result in a run in with the law whereby there would only be one possible outcome.

Electric mobility device users who fail to comply will eventually seen their device impounded and hefty fines will be imposed to deter such behavior. The law protects the public by imposing heavy penalties on such riders and will continue to do so.

We hope the authorities take the necessary actions against these riders and we sincerely hope no one was hurt in the process of their actions.
