Netizens shared screenshots of what appears to be a facebook posting by a foreign worker who apparently claims to be unhappy with the food. He posted photos of full boxes of food being throw away and claims the food cannot be 'eaten'.

Below was postings made by some netizen commenting on the photos of trash filled with boxes of uneaten food. The netizen speculated that the food boxes were thrown away and wasted because there was 'No curry'. However it is unknown if this is the sentiment of all the workers in general.

This may not be the overall sentiments but much as the Local Government has done a commendable job in improving the quality of their stay in the short time given by including free wi-fi, reducing the numbers cramped in the dorms by spreading them over newly requisitioned army camps, floating lodging facilities and many more, there is simply no way that every individual's personal preference can be 100% catered for.

It would be good to be understanding of the efforts which the authorities have taken to improve their quality of conditions but it would also be wise to be understanding to the current situation. Singapore is in a battle of life and death against this deadly virus. If all those involved can exercise restrain, tolerance to share this burden with all other Singaporeans who are currently in circuit breaker as many cannot work, eat at their favorite restaurants or even see their relatives.

Together we can make this work. Covid-19 can be beaten and humans will eventually rule this planet just as we did for hundreds of thousands of years. No animal, bacteria or virus can conquer the resolve of mankind. We will eventually prevail and continue to be masters of this blue planet.
